Fantastic Milky Way Brownies Recipe


Milky way brownies are one of the best easy desserts that you can prepare. So rich, chocolatey and silky, these brownies are ideal for all chocolate and brownie lovers out there! Surprise your family or friends with this delicious dessert. Try the following recipe:

Ingredients:

For the brownie layer:

  • ½ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup sifted cocoa
  • ½ cup cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sugar

For the chocolate layer:

  • 1 cup Marshmallow crème
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons cream

For the caramel layer:

  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 8 ounces’ caramels (caramel bits)

For the chocolate topping:

  • 1 ½ teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

 


Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F/180°C/Gas Mark 4. Line 8 by 8-inch pan with nonstick foil.
  • In a large bowl, combine together sugar, butter, flour baking powder, salt, cocoa, vanilla, eggs, and cream. Whisk until well incorporated. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the brownie cake start to pull away from sides of the pan. Remove and allow to cool completely.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and cream over a low heat or in a microwave for 45 seconds.  When smooth, add in marshmallow crème and stir until well incorporated. Spread over chilled brownies.
  • Melt the caramels together with the cream over a low heat or in a microwave for 45 seconds. Spread over fluff layer.
  • Melt the melting chocolate chips together with the oil over a low heat or in a microwave until smooth. Using an offset spatula, spread over caramel. Chill at least two hours. Then, cut and serve.
  • Keep any leftovers in the refrigerator.
