So, will Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis be called to testify at the Diddy trial?

As the Diddy trial gets into its third week, people have been wondering if his former friends Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis may be called to testify. Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher got married in July 2015, and Ashton has been linked to Diddy for over 20 years.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently on trial in New York. The 55-year-old faces charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and has denied all allegations.

Witnesses called so far have included Diddy’s former girlfriend Cassie Ventura, his former assistant David James, and artist Dawn Richard. They have been asked about all sorts of things, but a lot of the testimony has focused around so-called “freak off” parties Diddy used to host.

How are Diddy, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis linked?

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have previously faced backlash over their associations with P Diddy. Their association started when Ashton met the rapper in 2003. They were both producers on shows at MTV at the time. Ashton was working on Punk’d, and received a call from Diddy.

The pair then became friends and started running together. They ran the New York City Marathon in 2003, and remained close afterwards.

Ashton then went on to attend parties Diddy hosted. He was spotted at P Diddy’s well-known white party, which took place in 2009. When asked about the parties in a 2019 Hot Ones interview, he admitted there’s “a lot I can’t tell.”

However, Ashton has always said he had no idea of the alleged illegal activities that took place at the parties. At the time of Diddy’s arrest, a source told PEOPLE: “Ashton has no involvement in any of this. He doesn’t belong in this conversation about Diddy. Ashton has only seen Diddy in a handful of social and business events, all of which have been documented by the media.”

Will Ashton and Mila be called to testify at the trial?

When it was first reported Diddy had been arrested, it was rumoured Ashton and Mila were “moving to Europe” to distance themselves from the association. However, it was said the couple are “expecting” to be called to the trial.

A source told MailOnline: “There is no way in hell Ashton or Mila will be showing any sort of public support for Diddy right now.

“Regardless of Ashton’s long history with him, he has distanced himself from Diddy since Cassie’s lawsuit, and even more so in the wake of the new ones. Mila will not let Ashton be in any sort of contact. He is expecting a subpoena as they have been good friends for 20 years.”

Neither Ashton Kutcher or Mila Kunis have explicitly been mentioned in the Diddy trial so far. So it remains unclear if they will be called to the stand. However, the trial is expected to go on until July, so there are weeks left where more witnesses may be called.
